Dale Campbell Jr., storyteller, 3D animator, screenwriter, director, producer, musician, audio engineer, and creative technologist is the Founder and CEO of Positive Productions Plus LLC.

Positive Productions Plus LLC specializes in 3D animation, visual effects (VFX), and immersive content production for national and mid-west clients–focusing on developing projects that support the public good, while Positive Productions Plus LLC! (PPP) is geared towards the entertainment industry. Dale Campbell Jr. founded Positive Productions Plus LLC more than thirty years ago with a mission of ‘do things on purpose for a purpose–a philosophy that has guided the company since its inception.

From immersive entertainment content to AR e-commerce app solutions, METAVERSE technologies, and now AI technologies, Dale and his team of animators, artists, videographers, web developers and programmers create stories that produce solutions for their clients. One of Dale’s earliest and proudest projects is an ongoing animated series, ‘The Bagley’s’, which engages children and parents, encourages empathy, and addresses many of today’s social issues.

Dale also lectures on creative technology and media solutions at Northeast Iowa Community College. Positive Productions Plus LLC is a VRM Premier Partner and Dale Campbell Jr serves on the Marketing and Advertising committee of the Virtual Reality Augmented Reality Association (VRARA).

Dale’s proudest role is being the father of 3, Tiphanie, Felecia & Dale III, and 10 grandchildren.

It was 1977, and one of the best movies ever created was released. “Close Encounters of the Third Kind” is an American science fiction film written and directed by Steven Spielberg. This is when the spark was created. Science fiction has always been fascinating, but at the time, art was not something that could be a ‘real job’, and it was hard enough getting a well-paying job as a black man. Because of this, Dale ended up attending Metro Tech School in Omaha, NE, studying drafting. That was short-lived and life went back to ‘normal’. Fast forward to November 1995 when that initial spark was re-ignited with Pixar’s release of “Toy Story”. This was the first full-length feature film ever created using only 3D animated software . Dale and his friend Andre were officially on a mission to not only do something similar, but do it even better…
